Elton's quite famous concert from 7th of May 1977 at The Rainbow Theater in London. This show is only one out of 9 concerts this year where Elton later on would announce his retirement. This show was recorded on the soundboard and is in amazing quality!

This show is one of my all-time favorite gigs and shows Elton in very good shape -- his vocal is at its peak and Elton's playing is phenomenal. The show contains very rare songs like Dan Dare (Pilot Of The Future), Cage The Songbird (probably the only time he has ever performed that song live), Where To Now St. Peter, Idol, I Feel Like A Bullet (In The Gun Of Robert Ford), and Goodbye. Moreover Elton performs I Heard It Through The Grapevine which is one of the best version ever. Ray Cooper comes on stage during Funeral For A Friend. It's fun to hear this show because Elton gets more drunk as the show goes on -- he has a bottle of wine on the stage! This show deserves a lot of attention and you got to love this.

P.S. Don't mind the picture -- it's not from 1977, but from 1979 and I couldn't resist using it! Is it Elton with eye shadow?!

P.P.S. This show is one of a very few 70's concerts I have and will upload!
