And now a brand new show never seen on YouTube before from 1993 with the band! Paris 1993! The show seems to be incomplete but the bootleg is in decent quality! The show is a highly energetic affair throughout with Elton in mostly good vocal shape plus the audience is very enthusiastic and to involve the audience more, he speaks French so if there are any French speakers who wish to translate some of his speeches, feel free too! Most of the performances match Earl's Court though one or two songs are better here in my opinion!

The show opens with Pinball Wizard which is at a sensible tempo compared to the versions played in 1982, The Bitch Is Back with some obnoxious phrasing, Take Me To The Pilot which is a rare addition to the set at this time plus Elton uses the orchestral arrangements with the synthesizers from Australia 1986 which sounds great, I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues which is the usual excellent performance, Philadelphia Freedom which I think is better than Earl's Court as Elton sounds cleaner vocally plus I love the obnoxiousness in the second verse from this era and Empty Garden which is performed two keys down and sounds fine!

The show continues with the medley of Simple Life/The One which sounds great as it did throughout 1992/1993 however the early 1997 versions are the best versions, I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That which is flying fast, Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word which is popular with the audience but I am not a fan of vocal versions from the mid 1990's with the strange way of him not doing the falsetto, The Last Song with excellent vocals, Rocket Man with a nice improvisation towards the end, Bennie And The Jets with a nice introduction plus good vocals but no attempt at a falsetto like at Earl's Court, Sad Songs (Say So Much) which in my opinion is far too long with a 7 minute introduction, The Show Must Go On which sounds very nice, Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting which is extremely fast plus Davey Johnstone is pretty aggressive with the guitar which gives it a good sound, Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me with Elton holding out the notes very well, Sacrifice which is an excellent version and Your Song which ends the show nicely! Enjoy
