All right subscribers! Before I resume with the 1985-1986 uploads (for the upcoming debate), I'd like to share this with you! This is a two-sourced mix of Elton's Sydney 1982 concert! I used an inferior quality (but more complete) broadcast, and a superior quality (but misses a few songs and has gaps) broadcast to make this concert complete! I've patched in gaps using the various sources (by using cross fades, or hard switches). This is the definitive version of the show (to date).

Although most of the 1982 shows have FLYING tempos (especially the American and UK shows), the tempos on this show are relatively reasonable! This can be welcoming to the Elton fan who doesn't like the high-speed versions of songs! I consider this show to be one of the best ones on the tour--everybody sounds strong, Elton has fun with the crowd, and the set-list is brilliant (there's some songs featured that he doesn't play on other 1982 shows)!

Although a touch rough in a few spots, Elton's voice is in great shape: He sings excellent versions of "(Gotta Get A) Meal Ticket," "Someone Saved My Life Tonight," "Better Off Dead," "Ball And Chain," "Empty Garden," "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," "Chloe" (probably one of Elton's best ever live vocal performances), "Blue Eyes," "Bennie And The Jets," "Rocket Man," "Teacher I Need You," "All Quiet On The Western Front," and the "Rock And Roll Medley" is excellent!
