For my next upload, I decided to go back to a show I uploaded on my old channel! The first Manchester show from 1985! The show is sadly incomplete but it is in good quality plus some songs have an effect where it fades out as the song ends but this doesn't harm the listening too much!

Onto Elton's performance, he is in good voice but he is now using more head voice on songs unlike the mixed voice he used in Sheffield show with his voice going through a transitioning stage (this is one of the many reasons why he lost his voice) however there is no real issues apart from Rocket Man where he gives out on one of the Bb4's in the second verse! Also another note, on this show and 12/3, some songs do sound rough but we assume it is due to Elton having either a cold or something flu related.

Performances from this show worth of mentioning does include the final part of One Horse Town where he sounds clean, Better Off Dead which is a candidate for best version on the whole tour, Honky Cat where he goes for most of the higher parts (not the falsetto at the end of the song), Someone Saved My Life Tonight where he hits all the high notes but not with as much ease as other versions, The Bitch Is Back with excellent B4's, Passengers with wrong words plus randomness, Bennie And The Jets where Elton flips the weird phrasing to the second chorus but isn't as strong as he was at Sheffield plus conservative, This Town which sounds excellent, Nikita which highlights David Paton's excellent bass playing and Wrap Her Up which still has the original arrangement however Elton isn't as daring going for higher notes but it's still a great version! Also, the band is brilliant as always and the audience is enthusiastic! Enjoy!
