I have a rarity to share! The Tube show from 1985 where we have a bit more of Burn Down The Mission! The show was done just before the tour began so we get a clear idea of Elton's voice and the band which is fantastic! I am going to write about each song as there are only 4 songs!

This Town - Possibly the best version of the song as we have real instruments playing, you hear Elton's piano on this recording and he sings it brilliantly!

Sad Songs (Say So Much) - Tempo is more like 1984 and sounds great!

Nikita - Elton flubs lyrics, laughs about it, and also sounds interesting with the band playing properly and does unique phrasing which isn't heard on the tour! Wonderful!

Burn Down The Mission - Elton sounds great, changes lyrics "let the black smoke" and uses full voice instead of falsetto near the end of the recording!
