In less than 24 hours, I'll be taking part in a debate about the 1985-1986 world tour! I'll be promoting many gigs on that debate for people to check out! You can guarantee that this show will be among them! This recording is complete, but unfortunately it is in pretty poor quality. The recording is still listenable though--and with a concert this epic, the quality shouldn't matter! This is another gig that formulaonemad purchased, and I hope he likes the description! Thanks for the concert!

Since this is the final show (and 9th show in a row) at the Wembley Arena, there may be doubts about Elton sounding great. You can safely eliminate those doubts! Elton's voice is in superb shape, and he actually sounds better than the previous show (oddly enough)! He sounds slightly rough on "Tonight" (though the falsetto parts are fantastic), but his voice quickly clears up, and delivers some of his best performances on the tour (or at least the UK leg)! Elton sings fantastic versions of "One Horse Town" (where he sings the first two high note sections very uniquely), "Better Off Dead," "Rocket Man" (despite flubbing the first words, he nails the vocals well), "Burn Down The Mission" (candidate for the best version on the tour, and is possibly the definitive live version), "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" (another candidate for a best version--tons of powerful C5/C#5 notes and unique phrasing), "The Bitch Is Back," "Restless" (one of the best versions from 1985), "Shoot Down The Moon," "This Town," "Nikita," "I'm Still Standing" (some people say it's the best version ever), "Candle In The Wind" (one of the best versions on the tour), "Kiss The Bride" (along with Sheffield's version, this version holds its own against the European 1984 versions of the song), and "Can I Get A Witness!"

Note 1: Nik Kershaw, Rod Stewart, and George Michael all come out before "Can I Get A Witness." They add their vocals to the song!

Note 2: This show was referenced by Davey Johnstone during an online question and answer session! For that alone, this show will be featured quite prominently on the debate!

Note 3: As Elton Bootlegs mentioned on his upload of this show, it's sad to think that Elton sounds so great here, yet can barely sing the songs some nine months or so after this show!
