Since Elton Bootlegs posted all his awesome 1985 shows, I've decided to follow in the same vein! Elton's Wembley Arena concerts from 12/18 and 12/19 are awesome--let’s hope that this one is at least on par! This is Elton's first show at Wembley Arena (beginning a nine show stand--GOOD FUCKING GOD!!!), and like the other UK 1985/1986 shows, you can expect some awesome performances! The concert is mostly complete ("Highlander" is heavily cut, and some songs are slightly cut at the beginning or end portions), and the quality (although pretty tinny/sharp in the high end) is pretty good!

Elton's voice is in superb shape for this show, and features possibly the best version of "Tonight" from the whole 1985/1986 tour (he nails the first falsetto part--similar to Sheffield 1985). He also delivers great versions of "One Horse Town" (despite hitting a bum note on the first higher parts of the song), "Better Off Dead," "Rocket Man," "Burn Down The Mission," "Someone Saved My Life Tonight," "Restless," "This Town," "I'm Still Standing," "Kiss The Bride," and "Can I Get A Witness" (this being a very obnoxious version)!
