Having uploaded Wembley 1984, I decided to go through the archive and upload another personal favourite show of mine which has been speed corrected and had hiss taken off! The original 12/14/1985 from Wembley Arena! The show is 100% complete and is a radio broadcast!

This was the first 1985 show I heard from this tour and ever since then, my love for this tour was sealed! Elton is in fantastic voice here tonight and I quote Greg when he said "some of his greatest live vocals ever" came from this show, I agree with that comment 100%! His voice is also different here to other shows like 12/3 and 12/11 as his voice doesn't have a rougher sound, he sounds lighter and cleaner which makes this show better for me! Prime examples of excellent performances from this show include One Horse Town which in my opinion is the best version ever, Better Off Dead which sounds very clean vocally, Rocket Man which in my opinion is a top 3 on the tour, Honky Cat which is also top 3 (compared to some of the others), Burn Down The Mission which is fantastic, Someone Saved My Life Tonight which is epic, Passengers which is the best version on the tour (because it's the only version where he sings the right lyrics!!!!!!), Bennie And The Jets which sounds clean plus has excellent embellishments, Sad Songs (Say So Much) which is the best version on this leg of the tour, This Town which is amazing, Nikita which is very clean, I'm Still Standing is fantastic even with Elton flubbing the words, Wrap Her Up with Elton hitting all the notes near the end of the song like the record, Candle In The Wind which is beautiful and a very energetic Can I Get A Witness! Enjoy!

Note 1 - This show has a very over-excited fan who's seen the show far too many times! "BETTER OFF DEAD" and "TUMBLEWEED CONNECTION!" - You also hear her at the beginning of Burn Down The Mission at 12/19 as well!

Note 2 - Davey Johnstone looks like Pocahontas and Dusty Springfield tonight!
