Alright! Time to go right back to the beginning! To the very first time I heard an Elton performance. One random night, I was sat on Skype when tsskiller08 posts a link saying something about this man being possessed on drugs. I clicked on it to witness a madman smash a piano, throw a bench and do a fantastic piano improv! Since then, I have been addicted to listening and learning about this awesome man called Elton John! So this next upload is from that brilliant show! Wembley Stadium 1984! Unlike the video broadcast, this is the 100% complete soundboard which features things not heard on the video version! The show is dedicated to GregsynthWizard and tsskiller08 as they introduced me to this insane individual!

Now I love 1984 musically for Elton! His albums were mostly successful and with Elton very confident in himself, he consistently performed to a top level throughout this tour! But sometimes, official recordings can portray artists in bad light with their vocals however this show is a rarity!

Elton is in fantastic vocal shape throughout the whole show and the band compliment him in an awesome way! Prime examples include Tiny Dancer where Elton has a clean voice which makes this a top 5 version, Hercules which features aggressive vocals from Elton, Rocket Man which is just epic (but does feature some failure as Fred Mandel triggers the Too Low For Zero midway through the improv!), Daniel which is another performance which is fantastic, Restless which is like all the other European Express versions, Candle In The Wind which is one of the best ever band versions, The Bitch Is Back which features the awesome Fred Mandel on guitar, Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me where Elton slips into an Italian baritone however it is one of his best performances of the night, Sad Songs (Say So Much) which shows Elton's control over the massive crowd, Bennie And The Jets which was the first performance I ever saw of Elton and let's just say it is completely amazing!

Other great performances include Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word which features Elton's silky vocals, Philadelphia Freedom with awesome obnoxiousness, the medley with Elton's low range being featured, Kiss The Bride which in my opinion is the best 1984 version (YES BETTER THAN STUTTGART!), One More Arrow which blends Elton's higher range fantastically well, Too Low For Zero which is one of Elton's most consistent songs live, I'm Still Standing with a brilliant intro plus great harmonies, Your Song which is one of the best ever versions plus Elton hits a C5, Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting which he sings more like the record which makes it unique, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road which is possibly the best version ever, Crocodile Rock which is exceptionally obnoxious plus there is a bit of a goof at the end with the drums and the rock and roll medley which caps a brilliant show! Enjoy!
