After a long delay (tending to other channels-plus receiving dozens more Elton concerts), I am back with a concert that is guaranteed to be surprising: It has been long said that Elton john's voice went downhill in 1986--while that is true, many people assumed that Elton sounded like his Australia 1986 voice, or his Los Angeles 1986 voice during the other tour dates. That is going to be debunked (and my friend Elton Bootlegs is also helping, by uploading stuff as well). Elton's voice in the early part of the North American 1986 tour is nearly as good as the European leg, and some of his performances wouldn't sound out of place during his 1984/5 era!

This recording is complete, but the quality is rough (though listenable). Elton's voice is in good shape during this gig (especially compared to the later gigs), and sings great versions of "Tonight," "Philadelphia Freedom," "Burn Down The Mission," "Someone Saved My Life Tonight," "Levon," and "Restless." These songs prove that he still had his range intact (he can hit C5s, a D5, and even do falsetto bits in "Tonight")!
