I'm back from my vacation and to honor this, I'm going to upload a show from the country I visited! Rotterdam 1986! This show is one of my personal favorites from all eras with the randomness from Elton! Sadly, the show is incomplete but the quality makes up for it as it's excellent!

The end of the Ice On Fire European leg shows a massive difference in Elton's voice to when he started it two months earlier in Madrid as his voice has roughened up and has noticeably deepened. Don't be alarmed by this fact just yet as he still delivers some of his best vocal performances of the year! He sings one of the best amended phrased version of One Horse Town on the whole 1986 tour (Cuyahoga Falls rivals this), Rocket Man is very nice even with amended phrasing and still hits some Bb4's, Philadelphia Freedom is one of my favorites as he shows off his deeper voice and still hits D5's at the end, Burn Down The Mission and Someone Saved My Life Tonight where he still hits all the key notes cleanly, The Bitch Is Back with random embellishments, Blue Eyes from this show is very nice as Elton's deeper voice works well plus he sounds very soulful!

We also have very obnoxious versions of Restless where he does phrasing that wouldn't sound out of place later in the year but sounds great, Bennie And The Jets with one of the most obnoxious third verses ever and randomness throughout, Cry To Heaven where Elton uses the dynamics well considering his deeper voice, This Town where he flubs words but gives a great rendition, Nikita which he randomly oversings, I'm Still Standing which is also oversung randomly plus this is probably the most obnoxious version of the song which sounds frigging brilliant (a definite top 10 version!) and Song For Guy which is the last version with the beloved Steinway until 1992 plus it also highlights why this is a popular choice of song from the fans at this show plus people online as some have said their favorite versions of this song come from this tour! The band are having a fantastic time on stage and play brilliantly like always!
Enjoy!
