After wondering what to upload, I have decided to re-upload a show I previously uploaded in worse quality but now it runs at the correct pitch! Providence 1986! The show is mostly complete (no band intro) but still isn't the best quality I've ever heard!

The date 9/7 is famous for indifferent vocals (Oakland 1982 and London 1984 for Freddie Mercury!) and this show more than matches them in spots! Elton's voice is strange on this night of the tour as he has some good moments but they are ruined by some of the worst vocals from the tour as he still has the strained tone from the previous night and the next night!

Unbelievably though, Tonight is actually one of the better versions on the tour with Elton hitting all the falsettos in the later part of the song plus he sounds clean although that doesn't last on this gig, One Horse Town is not a good version at all with plenty of growling throughout, Better Off Dead sounds a lot better than the Los Angeles versions but still isn't the best, Rocket Man with Elton referring to his vocal shape in the improv plus cracking notes, Philadelphia Freedom with wrong notes plus Elton hits the 'shine a light' notes badly, Burn Down The Mission which is worse than the LA versions plus I prefer the Australian versions vocally to this, Someone Saved My Life Tonight which I had defended on the old source however the new source makes it a top 10 for the worst versions of the song however he is more stable than other versions from this tour, The Bitch Is Back where Elton's voice gives out plus he angry birds half the notes which is unappealing on the ears (second verse highlights this) however amazingly he hits the high note after the guitar solo, the medley is alright with Song For You being consistent enough, Blue Eyes where his voice wavers on the first line but sounds ok apart from that and the same comment applies to I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues!

The show continues with Levon where his voice gives out near the end plus he struggles throughout the song, Paris sounds alright but his tone is not the best plus the album version is better, Restless where he sounds rough Bennie And The Jets where he is obnoxious but his voice isn't up to his aggression plus randomness during the third chorus (however the piano solo is nice with the horn section joining in), Love Song sounds fine, Sad Songs (Say So Much) which has an interesting speech plus a decent vocal intro from Elton but the song isn't one of his finest performances, This Town which has an odd piano intro plus has random phrasing, I'm Still Standing where on the old source he sounded alright but on this he sounds a great deal worse with him giving out plus wrong piano chords in the solo, Nikita with the rougher voice sounds alright, Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting where he sounds better singing in the 'Barry White octave' plus he flubs the third chorus with something that wouldn't sound out of place at 9/14, Candle In The Wind which is actually good but it is one of the last versions to have something of his old voice remaining, Daniel which isn't the worst version from the tour and Your Song which sounds nice! Try to enjoy this show!
