Elton Bootlegs and I have two Philadelphia 1986 shows (9/2/1986 and 9/8/1986)! He is uploading the "good" show, and I'm uploading the "bad" show! If you guys prefer his upload to mine--that is perfectly fine! I don't like this show at all (due to the bad vocals), and prefer the earlier show by a thousand miles! This recording may be slightly incomplete ("This Town" isn't on this recording--but there's no cut--maybe he didn't play it), and the quality is decent!

Although Elton's voice was known for degrading during this tour, he at least was able to sing some good performances, and had some good vocal gigs (Kansas City, Bloomington, etc.). Unfortunately, this show isn't great vocally, and features some of Elton's worst performances on the tour (including the Australian shows that have 10-20 notes being hit at once)! On every song, he sounds very strained and "sick-sounding" (due to having pneumonia and/or laryngitis). He delivers the absolute worst version ever of "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" (where he apologizes to the audience after the performance, and offers refunds), and "Levon" (wrong notes, and airing notes throughout). He does have a few decent performances ("Candle In The Wind" and "Your Song"), but overall, stay away from this show.

Note 1: The introduction to "I'm Still Standing" is brilliant (though the vocals are awful)!

Note 2: Despite Elton's voice being in bad shape, the musical performances are excellent!

Note 3: I do give credit to Elton for trying his best!
